Parcel Arrived

The parcel from Amazon.com finally arrived. Didn't have time to take pics of it though but it came in a huge box...which of cuz, I got charged for it. Horrendously infact. The actual item weighed in at 0.9kg but because they packed it so 'nicely', the weight rosed to 6.3kg. Can you imagine? Duh...But am glad my dad liked it..haha!

New Toy!

Woohoo!! I've got a new toy - Sony Ericsson S500i. It is so slim and sleek and best of all, its a slider! The picture quality is not too bad and it works great! A pity the set doesn't come with a memory card but hey! memory cards ain't that expensive anymore. In anycase, the phone does come with an internal memory of 12mb, I think. So will just live with it for now..wait till..I start taking lots of photos then will consider getting one. For now, I'm all happy with my new toy!

My New Toy - Sony Ericsson S500i

Got it after work last evening..Dearie and I had like one of the cheapest dinner - Shih Lin Chicken Chop and Chippy's Bangers & Mash..oops and a Coke Light. We sat on some 'mini bench- looking' seats in Far East and mind you, these seats had lights 'built' in 'em! We had no choice but to sit on 'em. Of course, the bums felt warm and nice initially..then it got hotter..wahaha.. by then, we had already finished eating.. lucky us eh!

Will be heading to Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant this evening for dinner..the sista gonna be back from taipei and we wanna try if this place's good for meals..haha! Will update my next post with pictures, I hope..

Spend! Spend! Spend!

Yup. Spend more $ over the weekend. Replaced the player in the car..should have changed it a long time ago but just didn't get down to doing it. The volume function of the old one was cranky..Can't really 'adjust' the volume..think the button is screwed..can get really frustrating especially when a favourite song comes on or something..and you are like WTF!! By the time you get it adjusted, about half the freaking song is played..damn! If you are lucky, you get the 1st chorus! Haha!

It wasn't really a planned thing,actually..I just casually remarked to Dearie on the way home that hmm..been thinking about changing the player. He got all excited and said; Its about time I did that! So we popped by this shop near Rochor and decided to check out the pricing and stuff. There were lots and lots of stuff in the shop, I tell you..and it was crowded too! This place was recommended by his bro as he came by to change his speakers. Anyway, there were a few types..those with MP3, USB, single DISC, CDR..blah..Prices ranged from $190 - $400. Me, of cuz being the cheapo wanted something as cheap as possible..no need all the high-end stuff..cuz I listen to the radio the most..seldom on CDs..let alone MP3! Initially, I wanted to go for the cheapest..heh! $190 lah.But then can only play CD..meaning front load kind..Dearie suggested that I should go for the one with the MP3? Cuz can store and play more songs anytime..and since I will be driving this car for the next 4 years..so spending an extra $100 would be more 'worth'.. So.. I ended up getting the one which cost $290 which can play MP3 as well..heh! Pioneer Brand..comes with Remote Control..Dearie got all excited and commented that its more fun shopping for such things..I'm like huh? It cost so much more than just shopping for clothes, shoes and small stuff!

P.S. Dearie sponsored me $100 so I only paid $190...cuz I was grumbling..Heh!

Don't look like it cost $290 hor? Looks more like $80!
